Manuel Paolo A. Villar

President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Villar has been a member of the TVI Board since June 2023. His leadership journey is marked by significant roles as President of Prime Resource Holdings Inc. He concurrently serves as Chairman and CEO of St. Augustine Gold and Copper Limited, as Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc. – after previously holding the Chief Financial Officer position – as well as Director of Starmall Inc.

Prior to assuming his previous role as consultant for McKinsey & Co. in the U.S., Mr. Villar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics as well as his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael G. Regino

Director

Mr. Michael Regino is a business executive with over 35 years of extensive managerial experience in construction, real estate development and mining.Since 2014, Mr. Regino has served as a mining executive, most notably for the controlling interest of St. Augustine Gold and Copper company in the King-king Copper-Gold Project, and as managing director of TVI Resource Development Phils Inc., which has interests in mining and processing of precious metals, copper and zinc, among others.

Mr. Regino recently served as commissioner, and then as President and CEO, of the Social Security System, for which he drove efficiencies, built its investment portfolio and delivered over P1 trillion in benefits to its members during his tenure. He was likewise a board of director of two public companies in the last five years: Union Bank of the Philippines and Philex Mining.

He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and earned his MBA from the Ateneo de Manila.

Love D. Manigsaca

Chief Financial Officer

Lolot is a finance professional, holding several certifications including Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Modeler and Valuation Analyst, Certified Capital Markets and Securities Analyst, and Certified Global Business Analyst. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of TVI Pacific, Inc., where he oversees strategic financial planning and corporate governance.  Previously, he was the President of Greenstone Resources Corporation, the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement holder for the Siana and Mapawa Gold Projects under the management of Red 5 Limited.

Nicolaos Paraskevas

Executive Director

Nico Paraskevas was employed by the Glencore International Group from 2006 until 2021 in a variety of executive roles moving to Glencore International AG in Switzerland in January 2013. He assumed the position of Head of Copper Marketing in 2018. In his role as Head of Copper, his areas of responsibility included the following:

• Supervising major operational, financial, investment and business development activities of the copper department across multiple countries and assets and 25,000 employees.
• Managing the trading of all Copper, Cobalt and Molybdenum products.
• Developing measures for P+L optimisation, operational cost savings, capital expenditures savings, and reduction of working capital.
• Supervising operational improvement initiatives, including large-scale productivity improvement and asset commissioning programmes.

Before joining Glencore, Nico held various roles in the investment banking and private equity industry in South Africa. Nico is a qualified Chartered Accountant having studied at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa receiving his degree with distinction and passing the CA (SA) qualifying exam with honours.

Andrew J. Russell

Project Director

Andy is one of the original founders of St. Augustine, and has more than 20 years’ experience in acquisition, financing and management of major mining projects, the most recent being the acquisition and IPO of the Santa Cruz project under Ivanhoe Electric.  Andy will take on the executive role of Project Director of the Kingking project.  Andy leads Russell Mining Corporation, a major shareholder of St. Augustine.

Jaydee Justine B. Legaspi-Buduan

General Counsel

Justine is a corporate lawyer with over 17 years of experience as in-house legal counsel of companies across diverse industries, including more than six years of direct involvement in the Philippine mining sector. She currently serves as General Counsel of the Company, where she provides strategic legal advice on mining regulations, corporate housekeeping, taxation, and corporate governance.

Justine was previously Senior Manager for Legal Affairs of TVI Resource Development Philippines Inc. (TVIRD), a mining company, where she handled mining regulatory compliance, corporate housekeeping, and provided legal advice on mining, tax, corporate, labor and environmental law. Justine also worked as Senior Legal Manager for Ethics and Compliance of Republic Cement Services Inc., where she handled labor, litigation and ethics and compliance which solidified her experience in managing regulatory compliance with labor law, ethics and compliance and government audits across multiple plant operations. Prior to her return to TVIRD, she was AVP, Division Head for Corporate and Compliance Division of P.J. Lhuillier Inc. (Cebuana Lhuillier).

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo Law School and a BA in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
